These Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) require smart plant operation stage (level 2+) to cope with the increase in the process operation and process data We needed to process data that meets the aged SME manufacturing plant rather than building expensive individual solutions.
Effect of application
As a modular smart factory software solution that can be selectively applied to the food industry market segment, we built a Smart Factory time series database engine. This implementation was integrated on a hygiene and health analysis platform and facility forecasting solution resulting in reduced customer TCO, and process improvements.

The process from material selection to container packaging is conducted through dozens of suppliers. Supplier quality control management is key, from of the automatic lathe to the distribution center.
Requirements
For ease of operation, all data is collected in edge intelligence devices. To clarify which analysis should be performed along with a predefined definitions, this data is then integrate into a big data platform and stored in time series format.
Effect of application
A system was built and designed to collect all the data coming from the facility for the purpose of production optimization and was integrated to different PLC information. This data collection phase is the first stage of factory intelligence. It enables control / information / management data to be viewed in a single business intelligence (BI) database for Data Lake utilization.
